

Soon, it shall be implemented for businesses with a turnover of more than Rs.5 crore from 1st January 2023. Recently, the e-invoicing system got extended to those with a turnover above Rs.10 crore from 1st October 2022. The government thereafter extended the e-invoicing applicability to businesses having more than Rs 20 crore turnover w.e.f 1st April 2022. Later on, it was extended to those taxpayers with turnover ranging between Rs.50 crore to Rs.100 crore from 1st April 2021. Thereafter, it got extended to businesses with a turnover of more than Rs.100 crore from 1st January 2021. The e-invoicing system was implemented from 1st October 2020 for large taxpayers with a turnover of more than Rs.500 crore.

Beside "DIMENSIONS" and "LINE TOTAL", all the other 6 columns are custom fields that are not defined in the default database (and template) shipped with Invoice Manager for Excel.The CBIC has notified the latest e-invoice schema on 30th July 2020. The "Product ID", "Quantity" and "Price" fields, which are found in many templates available here on, were moved out of the printable area of the sheet. The "DIMENSIONS" field is actually the "Product Name" field in the original Sales Invoicing Template shipped with Invoice Manager for Excel. Including the CD field, there are totally 8 columns on this template - "ROLL", "DIMENSIONS", "GLOSSY / MATTE", "COLOR / B&W", "# in ROLL", "DOUBLES?", "CD?" and "LINE TOTAL". This template, Photography Receipt Template (Detail) or Photography Receipt Format (Detail), includes fields for digital image processing, such as the "CD" field.
